She has recorded with Tom Jobim, Luiz Bonfá, Elizeth Cardoso, Hermeto Pascoal, Martinho da Vila, Marcos Valle, Os Cariocas, Mario Castro-Neves, Dom Um Romão, Eumir Deodato, Larry Coryell, Ron Carter, Gonzalo Rubalcaba, John McLaughlin, and Peter Scharli. She has performed shows with Tito Madi, Tim Maia, Edu Lobo, João Donato, Guinga, and Paulo Cesar Pinheiro. She has released 21 albums on the labels Som Livre, Milestone, Universal, Mercury, Huks, King, and JSR, recorded 10 songs for TV Globo soundtracks, and 4 film soundtracks. She has given concerts in more than 20 countries, including the United States, France, England, Switzerland, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Serbia, Bulgaria, Portugal, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, and Finland. She was chosen by Maestro Gaudencio Thiago de Mello to be the soloist of a concert held in 2008 at CUNY (City University of New York) in honor of Sergio Vieira de Mello, celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights adopted by the UN. She has received awards from APCA (Associação Paulista dos Críticos de Arte), DownBeat magazine (named one of the best singers in the world starting in 2000), the Sharp Award, the Brazilian Music Award, among others.
